New Updates for FoodSafety.gov Blog

Woman in kitchen reading from laptop with food on the counter

When it comes to food safety, we here at FoodSafety.gov want to make your experience easy and intuitive. We recently make some updates to the blog in an effort to make blog navigation easier and faster so you can find the information you need about food safety.

There are now categories and tags located in the sidebar. We reviewed each blog post, to include those in our archives, and organized them according to topic. This will help pull up blog posts based on the topic and keywords you type into our search engine on the top of the page. You can also scan related blog posts by clicking on the tags posted at the end of each blog post.

You can also now comment on our blog posts, ask questions, and provide feedback. Before you submit a comment, please review the guidelines in our Comment Policy.

The blog will be updated at least once a week with information related to food safety, from outbreak and recall information to holiday food prep, to seasonal food information to charts for cooking temperatures to need-to-know information about foodbourne illnesses, and more.

Don’t forget: we’re on social media, too. Find us on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
